Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SoExpense, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.
Use of Application
SoExpense is a personal finance and budget management application. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse the app, distribute copies, or attempt to reverse-engineer its source code.
User Data & Data Loss
All your data (expenses, budgets, savings goals, recurring expenses, and analytics) is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal information on external servers. We do not automatically back up your data to the cloud. While the app provides a manual Backup & Restore feature and a CSV Data Export feature, you are solely responsible for backing up, preserving, and safely storing your own data files. You acknowledge that if you uninstall the app, lose your device, clear the app's storage, or use the "Clear All Data" feature, your data will be permanently lost.
Gamification and Virtual Rewards
XP (Experience Points), levels, tokens, and streaks earned in the app have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or physical goods.
Advertisements
SoExpense is a free application supported by advertisements served through Google AdMob. Ad content is provided automatically by third-party advertisers. By using this app, you agree to the display of these advertisements. SoDevX is not responsible or liable for the content, accuracy, or claims made by such advertisements.
Updates and Changes
We reserve the right to modify or update the app—including adding, altering, or removing features—at any time without prior notice.
Limitation of Liability
SoExpense is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranty of any kind. SoDevX shall not be liable for any loss of data, damages, or other issues arising from the use or inability to use this application.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
